Meal Assembly FAQ's

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What is Meal Assembly?  It is a way to save you time and money while feeding your family yummy meals.  We assemble them and you pick them up.  Follow the easy cooking instructions when you get home. 
  2. How many entrees can I order?  There is no minimum or maximum.  You can specify that we package an entree in 2 containers, with each container serving 2-3 people (great for small families).  Please note that some entrees are not condusive to splitting.
  3. How many people will each entree feed?  4-6 depending on your appetites.
  4. Do the entrees include side dishes? A majority of our entrees include the vegetables or starch in the dish.  Sometimes if the dish is served with rice, we provide the rice for you to cook.  We also provide suggestions with your meal such as a steamed vegetable.  Additionally, since we also have a personal chef and catering business, we keep frozen sides dishes in our freezer if you would like to purchase them.
  5. Do we receive heating instructions with our dinners?  Yes, each entree is labeled with instructions.  If you lose the label, give us a call and we will help provide instructions over the phone or go to the assembled menu for the current month, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the link of the heating instructions you need.
  6. What do I need to bring with me?  Just a cooler to carry your assembled meals home with you.
  7. How do I pay? Visa, Discover, MasterCard or American Express.  Payments must be made in advance as we are buying your food in advance.  We also accept cash and personal checks.  The most convenient way may be to pay through our online shopping cart.
  8. How often do you change your menu?  The menu is changed every month assuring that you will have a variety of dinners in your freezer.  We offer a varied menu each month with a range of meats, poultry, fish and cuisines. These are our recipes that we have made for our personal chef clients for years and we have adapted them for you.
  9. Can I get a gift certificate?  Yes, just give us a call.  We have them available.
  10. Where are you located?  We are conveniently located a couple of minutes off of I-40 in Clemmons at 4784 Kinnamon Road, Winston-Salem, 27103 (right beside of Clemmons Gymnastics and right across from Joyce Foods).  You can also get to Kinnamon off of Peacehaven Road or off of Highway 158.
  11. Can we schedule a private party?  Yes, just give us a call with the attendees names.  When they place their order they will need to specify the name of the party in the comments section of the order form. We can accomodate special times or dates if you give us a call.  In addition, we request private parties have a minimum of 6 attendees with a minimum order of 4 entrees each. If you cancel after we have held the time and date for you and coordinated our work force for the event, there will be a $20 charge for each person not attending.
